On September 2, 2023, the highly anticipated International Association of Athletics Federations Diamond League Xiamen station event will once again illuminate the magnificent Xiamen Egret Stadium. The Diamond League, launched by the World Athletics (formerly known as the World Association of Athletics Federations or WAAF) in 2010, stands as the pinnacle of single-day international track and field events. This year's tournament comprised of 14 stops, with Xiamen being the sole destination in China. It serves as a gathering ground for over 100 of the world's most elite track and field athletes, who will compete on this field.
