C&D Inc. Is Making Significant Strides in the Establishment of the BRICS Innovation Center by Executing Multiple Cooperation Agreements

On June 28, the BRICS Innovation Center Industrial Project Matchmaking Meeting took place in Beijing. Cui Yonghui, the Secretary of the Xiamen Municipal Party Committee, was in attendance and delivered a speech. The meeting was presided over by Zhuang Rongliang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor of Xiamen. Nearly 200 participants, including representatives from BRICS member and partner nations in China, relevant government agencies, and businesses, attended the event to engage in in-depth discussions on practical collaboration in the context of the new industrial revolution.
At the meeting, two subsidiaries of C&D Inc. (600153.SH) under C&D Group each signed cooperation agreements with leading enterprises in the pulp & paper and agricultural products sectors, with a total contract value exceeding RMB 5.7 billion. C&D Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. and SUZANO (Suzano, Brazil) Group have signed a strategic cooperation agreement, with plans to expand the sales and services of hardwood pulp products to a broader market in China. C&D Commodities Co., Ltd. has signed a procurement agreement with Louis Dreyfus, aiming to promote the stable and sustained growth of their cooperation by purchasing Brazilian agricultural products such as soybeans and corn, thereby ensuring a stable and secure food supply.
In recent years, C&D Inc. has actively advanced its international business strategy, strengthening its ability to access global resources and expand its distribution channels. The company has continued to focus on key markets along the "Belt and Road" Initiative, BRICS countries, and RCEP member states, enhancing its overseas localization capabilities. By building a diversified and resilient global supply chain, C&D Inc. shares development opportunities and achievements with its partners.
